The Art therapy project

Our upcoming project is a 5-part video series entitled The Art Therapy Project. Our Dance Ambassadors help tell the story of families living with a pediatric brain tumor diagnosis. This will serve as our first official fundraiser to fund Pediatric Brain Tumor research. We will be releasing the videos on social media beginning September 1, 2018 during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube to keep up with our project and important updates. Links below.

Extreme apartment makeover

Every year, we try to help at least 1 family facing a difficult diagnosis for which the emotional and financial strain has created hardships. A family who had been displaced while their daughter was undergoing treatment for a relapse was finally given a place to live. We collected furniture and with the help of volunteers decorated their apartment, provided new mattresses, clothes, kitchenware, etc.

Senior CaPstone Project (other side of the wall)

Our first successful performing arts production was entitled Other Side of the Wall and was written, choreographed, and directed by head of our Youth Outreach Committee, Austin. This show demonstrated the impact the arts have and allowed our message to resonate powerfully within in our community. Our current project is an evolution of this performance. Proceeds from this performance were donated to the National Brain Tumor Society.
