BOGOm (Buy 1 Get 1 more!) Annual Toy Fundraiser
Other Side of the Wall has been hosting BOGOm (Buy 1 Get 1 more) since 2014. We collect NEW toys through host sites and businesses in our community. We have hand-delivered over 1,000 toys directly to the Oncology floor at Children's Hospital in Washington, DC. It may seem minimal in nature but TOYS ARE NOT JUST TOYS. They are also therapy tools. Children come into the Art Therapy room one at time and have their own PERSONAL SHOPPING SPREE. The Youth Outreach Committee and other members of our team assist in making it a fun and personal experience for children and their families. We also provide direct relief to families experiencing financial and emotional strain as the direct result of a Pediatric Brain Tumor diagnosis.

Our Toy Shop is all set up to receive our first shoppers. On average we serve 40-50 families each year.

We try to ensure we have enough inventory for children of all ages. We have also donated game systems for the Inpatient Rooms, art supplies and money to the Art Therapy room, and provided breakfast for the staff.

We engage both youth and local business in our efforts. Pictured above are students from C&C Dance Company along with 2 of our Youth Outreach Committee members, Victoria and Alex. Victoria was also able to convince her Middle School to participate in the toy collection.
